Use the client payment ID from your approved quote to load your details, then complete step one or step two below.
Step One
Pay the $50 depositPay the required $50 non-refundable deposit online through Stripe. This secures the appointment window attached to your approved quote and starts your client payment record.
By submitting this deposit, you are authorizing payment of the reservation deposit and acknowledging that CrossVetCare may rely on your quote approval, intake records, appointment scheduling, and service records to respond to any unauthorized payment dispute.
Step Two
Pay the vet billAfter the appointment is complete, CrossVetCare will post the final clinic receipt and approved total to this portal. When your vet bill is ready, the amount above will update and this Stripe button will pay that exact balance.
Balance payments are limited to the final amount CrossVetCare posts to this portal. If the amount or receipt has not been posted yet, do not submit payment until the portal has been updated.
How the payment portal works
CrossVetCare keeps intake, quote approval, and payment as separate steps so you know exactly what you are approving.
When should I use the payment portal?
Use this page only after CrossVetCare has reviewed your request and sent you an approved quote or payment instruction. The portal is not the first step in the process. It is used to pay the required $50 deposit after quote approval and to document how you want the remaining balance handled.
What do I need before paying?
You will need the client payment ID CrossVetCare sent with your quote. Enter that ID into the payment portal to load your payment details. For the vet bill step, wait until CrossVetCare has posted the final receipt and approved total to the portal before paying.
How does the $50 deposit work?
The $50 deposit is paid online through Stripe after you accept the quote. It reserves the approved appointment window attached to your client payment ID and is non-refundable once that appointment window has been reserved, except in the case of actual fraud or a verified billing error.
Can I pay the remaining balance in cash?
This payment portal is designed for Stripe payments. If CrossVetCare separately approves another payment arrangement for the final balance, follow the written instructions you receive directly from CrossVetCare rather than relying on the portal.
What happens with my card after I pay the deposit?
Your deposit is processed through Stripe checkout, and Stripe securely handles the payment information used for that transaction. Under this portal workflow, your final clinic receipt and approved balance are posted to the portal after the appointment, and you complete step two yourself by paying the exact amount tied to your client payment ID.
What if my payment link does not work?
If the portal does not recognize your client payment ID or the Stripe session cannot be created, contact CrossVetCare so we can confirm your quote reference and resend payment instructions if needed.
